It's essential in order not to duplicate the chaos of the state-by-state system of the United States, which leads to 50 different interpretations of every single law, digital polities are encouraged to adhere to the principle of delegationism. 

1. Choice of law: Digital polities must not overrule the right of a group of individuals to bind themselves to a legal system of choice within the terms of a contract.
2. Wherein a dispute arises between two or more people in which a choice of law is not specified, the larger and more established digital polity will take precedence.
